Who Am I?
I am a mom of two very intelligent boys that keep me busy. Before my boys were born, I was teaching high school science and temporary teaching in all types of classrooms before that. Until both my boys are in school full time, I've been using my desire to teach since they were newborns. After many questions from other mothers on what did so well for my boys, I felt led to start this to help other adults to shape the minds of children, even before they start school.
Why me?
My oldest son was reading books well before he was 3 years old. He started preK this year and is reading at a 2nd and 3rd grade level, knows al the states and capitals, planets, many other aspects of science, and gets more advanced everyday. My youngest turned 2 and is following in the same advanced path as his brother. I believe education should start way before school starts and continue their entire life, even outside of the classroom.
How?
In this blog, I will share techniques I've used, resources you can use from other sources I've found, and freebies you can download and print for your kids. The more age range is needed, the more I'll add. Baby-12th grade learning is very possible for this blog.
