Videos for Reading

Not everyday is a great day for teaching our kids. There are just some days there are elements beyond our control that keeps them from being at their best. As parents, we may need that extra cup of coffee, to read a book alone, or have some time away at the end of the day to recuperate. Whatever it is, we understand not everyday is going to work out the way we'd like.

I learned early that when those days show up, just take a different approach! Instead of continuing your lesson, just change direction by using these videos. There are many great ones out there that will keep your kid's focus. It's amazing how a snack, drink, and even a blanket on the couch will get your kid sitting, quiet, and focused on what you've been trying to work on. These can be put on their tablets, or even downloaded to use in the car, doctor's office, store, or wherever needed.
