Welcome!

My name is Melissa, and I'm a mom. A stay at home mom. For a lot of people, that is a title that makes people think less of you. Like we are the traditionalists that stay home and cook and clean and stay home with the babies instead of work...for some that may be true. That's not me.

I am farmer's daughter. I am a certified science teacher. I am a mother.

Those are just three of main traits that influence who I am, especially as a unemployed female. Could I go to work tomorrow? Yes. Will I? No. Here's why.

I believe that early education is vital. It always has been and always will be. While I know I and others are possibly hurting today's secondary educaiton by staying home and attributing to the teacher shortage in Oklahoma right now, I know what I am doing is right for my family and their future. No it's not just being home with my kids. It's teaching them anything I can from birth til school and beyond.

I hope you will use this site as an inspiration and a tool to follow. For too long I've had the pull to start something to inspire and help others. They see my boys and want that same progress that we've achieved and I hope this does that for you.
